Wooden items are a wonderful gift, they will last a lifetime and will have some great memories associate with them. Wood is a natural, and attractive material for created that custom one-off piece. This is my Hobby; I do not expect to make a living from it, so my charges are low in comparison to elsewhere. When possible, I use reclaimed Hardwood, like the 100-year-old Church Pew feet I turned into Bowls. Thats something with a story already!
I also make storage made to measure for you, I have made a few of these now and received some great feedback. With the money I do make I use to purchase new tools, more wood, or sandpaper pads, wax etc..
